HOME cured bacon and handmade sausages will be among the tastings on offer at Country Harvest, near Ingleton, on Friday, January 29, to mark Breakfast Week.

Staff will be busy putting a variety of tasty treats together for customers to try between 10.30 and noon. There will also be marmalades, lemon cheeses, croissants and Skipton-based Yockenthwaite granolas to try.

Among the highlights will be Country Harvest butcher Kabel Taylor’s cured bacon and his brother George’s – who won Young Butcher of the Year 2014/2015 – range of bestselling bangers and black pudding.

“We have a lot of regular customers who come here particularly for the breakfasts and in the food hall we now stock a lot of mueslis and marmalades and curds which have proved very popular. It’s the best meal of the day and as my office looks out over snow capped Ingleborough I always need our bacon sandwich to keep me warm when I get into work every morning,” said Steve West, shop floor manager. To celebrate Breakfast Week Country Harvest is also offering all of its customers to the coffee shop a FREE tea or coffee with every cooked breakfast (either Full English or vegetarian option) served from 9am-11.30am). The offer runs all week, from Monday January 25-29 2016.

Country Harvest has linked up with Settle Carlisle Railway company to offer a great deal to all our customers.

We’re sure many of you have been watching ITV drama Jericho about the construction of the Ribblehead Viaduct and are planning to visit the area to see where the real action took place.

When you do, don’t forget to pop into Country Harvest and if you flash your Dales Railcard you will qualify for a FREE tea or coffee with every hot meal purchased in our beautiful coffee shop which overlooks Ingleborough.

The offer runs until December 30th 2016.

Don’t miss our January sale – 50% off all clothing. Includes Joules, Regatta and Seasalt – and all children’s wear. Also great deals on selected gifts and homeware.

About Simon Phillpotts, in his own words:
“The majority of my photography is undertaken right here upon my doorstep within the Yorkshire Dales. Its draw for landscape photographers is very well known but its also a fantastic location for wildlife with a wide range of habitats from wetlands and meadows to high moors and pine forests. Red Squirrel, Hare, Curlew, Little Owl, Red and Black Grouse are just a few of the many species to be found here.
“My images have been Highly Commended in the British Wildlife Photography Awards on several occasions and have featured in national newspapers including the Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Daily Record, Daily Mail, Sun and Mirror, the local press in Yorkshire and the North-East and a variety of books, calendars and magazines.
On TV I have appeared on BBC’s Countryfile with Julia Bradbury and ITV 1’s The Dales with Ade Edmonson.”
