Our Christmas Cabin has now shut and the building is being transformed into an Outdoor Living outlet.

The Outdoor Living Cabin will open in mid February and will be filled with discount outdoor clothing, garden furniture, troughs, fountains and other garden ornaments.

Our opening hours over Christmas are:

Christmas Eve 9am – 3pm
Christmas Day & Boxing Day – CLOSED
Dec 27 – 30 9am – 5pm
New Year’s Eve 9am – 4pm
New Year’s DAY – CLOSED

Please note: the Coffee Shop closes 30 minutes before the main store and Christmas Cabin

Father Christmas is visiting our Christmas Cabin every Saturday in December.

He will be there from 10am to noon every Saturday to meet children and their families. These are free events.

Our Cumberland sausage; thin  pork sausage; pork, spring onion and Red Leicester sausage  and pork, smoked bacon and black pudding banger have all won awards in this year’s UK Sausage Week awards.

To celebrate we have 15 different flavours for you to try this week (Monday, October 28 – Saturday, November 2), including our award winners.   And they’re all on a 3 for £12 offer. Perfect timing for Fireworks’ Night!

Come along to our Christmas event at 6pm on Friday, November 15th.

There will be fun for all the family – from a giant outdoor snowglobe which is selfie heaven; a visit from Santa; two live reindeer; a performance by Carnforth’s Salvation Army Band and the chance to do some late night shopping in our Christmas Cabin and main store. All the events are free.

There will also be some food and drink on the night – a Jumbo Pig in Blanket anyone?

The event runs from 6pm to 8.30pm. It will also give you the opportunity to enjoy our fabulous Christmas lights display.

Our Christmas Cabin opens at 9am on Saturday, September 28th 2019.

It’s full of tree, trims, baubles and wonderful illuminated creatures…pop in and have a look!

We’ve got lovely pieces from all your favourites, including Joules, Regatta and Seasalt. And we’ve also got a new range of women’s clothing this year, from Marble of Scotland. We think you’ll love it!

We hope everyone enjoyed our very first Food Fair as much as we did! Thanks to everyone who braved the weather, all the stallholders selling amazing food from across the north, our masterclass stars headlined by MasterChef winner Irini Tzortzoglou. See you all next year we hope!

DOES your son or daughter love watching baking programmes?

Is your grandchild glued to TV’s Great British Bake Off every year?

This June we are holding our first ever Junior Bake Off, where young contestants will have their cakes and biscuits judged by a panel. The baking competition which is open to under 11s is the culmination of our first ever four-day Food Fair.

The event is being held on Sunday, June 9th where all competitors will be asked to bring their cakes in for 12pm, before the judging commences at 2pm.  There will be goodie bags, prizes and rosettes and a Best In Show trophy.

To enter all you have to do is:

  1. Decorate two biscuits

OR/AND

  1. Make or/and decorate two cupcakes

OR/AND

  1. Make or/and decorate a Victoria sponge.

The event will end our first ever Food Fair, sponsored by Leisure Resorts, which is being held in a marquee in the grounds. The event starts on Thursday, June 6 with a fun masterclass with former Great British Bake Off contestants Howard Middleton and Sandy Docherty; then during the daytime there will be lots of food tastings, a barbecue, masterclasses, a pie tasting and a sausage making demonstration. On the Saturday evening there will be a performance by the award winning Leyland Brass Band.
