Mary's Fudge Kitchen When Country Harvest decided to open an in-store fudge kitchen, proprietor Mike Clark had no hesitation in coming up with a name for this exciting development for the business.
With the wholehearted backing of her family, it was decided that the ‘kitchen’ would be named after Mary Ridgeway, who died after a long but brave battle with cancer.
Mary was more than just the The Coffee Shop’s long-serving cook – she was a dear friend to all at Country Harvest and her untimely death was keenly felt by both her colleagues, and loyal customers of The Coffee Shop.
To help keep her memory alive, and to reflect her fun-loving outlook on life, it was decided that the Fudge Kitchen would be named after her – a culinary
tribute to a much-loved and sorely missed member of the Country Harvest team.
