HOME cured bacon and handmade sausages will be among the tastings on offer at Country Harvest, near Ingleton, on Friday, January 29, to mark Breakfast Week.

Staff will be busy putting a variety of tasty treats together for customers to try between 10.30 and noon. There will also be marmalades, lemon cheeses, croissants and Skipton-based Yockenthwaite granolas to try.

Among the highlights will be Country Harvest butcher Kabel Taylor’s cured bacon and his brother George’s – who won Young Butcher of the Year 2014/2015 – range of bestselling bangers and black pudding.

“We have a lot of regular customers who come here particularly for the breakfasts and in the food hall we now stock a lot of mueslis and marmalades and curds which have proved very popular. It’s the best meal of the day and as my office looks out over snow capped Ingleborough I always need our bacon sandwich to keep me warm when I get into work every morning,” said Steve West, shop floor manager. To celebrate Breakfast Week Country Harvest is also offering all of its customers to the coffee shop a FREE tea or coffee with every cooked breakfast (either Full English or vegetarian option) served from 9am-11.30am). The offer runs all week, from Monday January 25-29 2016.
