Cooks' Club 2012 demonstrations

We are now taking bookings for our 2012 programme of Cooks' Club demonstrations.
Vegetarian cookery will be the subject of our Thursday, March 15 get-together, and low fat cookery will be the star of the show on Thursday, May 17.
Our demonstrations - which start at 7pm and usually last for two hours - are led by Yelly de Jong of the Cook in Cumbria cookery school at Ravenstonedale.
The cost is £7 for Cooks' Club members, and £10 for non-members. Places must be pre-booked.

Our in-store butcher is now putting together meat boxes.

Save money on your meat – order half a lamb for only £79, or a full lamb for £140 (£7.10 per kilo / £3.22 per lb). Cut and bagged to customer requirement to include chops and joints. Freezer not big enough, then why not share with a friend? For details, please speak to our in-store butcher.

Save money on your meat – order a side of pork for only £99; box includes chops, sausages (5lbs), legs, shoulder joints (or 10lbs of sausage), and belly pork. That’s only £3.25 per kilo (approx £1.70/lb).
