BACKGROUND TO MARY'S FUDGE KITCHEN: When we decided to open an in-store fudge kitchen, proprietor Mike Clark had no hesitation in coming up with a name. Cook Mary Ridgway - who died after a brave battle with cancer - was a dear friend to all at Country Harvest and her untimely death was keenly felt by colleagues and loyal customers. To keep her memory alive, and to reflect her fun-loving outlook on life, it was decided that - with the backing of her family - the Fudge Kitchen would be named after her.
